I use repetition as part of my work to demonstrate something that is both the same and different.We direct our vision towards an object and often recognise it immediately from memory without having to look twice or think about it.In my paintings and drawings I ask the viewer to look but also question what they see and therefore I encourage a repeated act of looking.
